Doesn't Undertale/Deltarune exclusively give EXP for killing enemies? That's a plot point.
I see this sometimes, usually wrpgs, how about jrpgs? Seems like a very strong counter to any grinding issues
Black Souls 1&2, you have to explicitly level up with the help of an NPC. This means that SL1 runs are possible
Suikoden fixed exp grinding by having you gain exp relative to your level difference to the enemy. The only grinding you need to do is for items.
I think OP is asking for games that actually exist
>by having you gain exp relative to your level difference to the enemy
So exactly not what the OP asked for where there is no exp from enemies?
It's real in my heart
So why do wrpgs make you stronger in combat despite not getting exp from enemies?
Congrats on not even reading what he wrote
Moon bills itself as an "anti-RPG" but it does basically that. You gain xp by freeing the souls of creatures killed by a standard RPG hero and from helping townspeople solve their personal issues.
You should always get XP from killing and if you don't, your game is designed by a pretentious faggot who thinks he's above proven good game mechanics.
