Undertale/Deltarune.
Games like Superstars Saga have level scaling so you don't actually need to fight at all.
Pokemon only has scripted battles if you use repel and avoid grass.
grinding is literally in place for people who get filtered by gameplay. it's not necessary in jrpgs or even wrpgs. you're just bad. also im not even sure what this thread is asking or what it's for
Like no experience comes from killing random enemies wandering around. It all comes from other means like quests or discovering areas. Not as in quests and discovering is a bonus exp ontop of the killing of the enemies to get there.
Undertale/Deltarune aren't JRPGs tho.
