Take out the over-the-top fourth wall breaking silliness and bring back the tone of SR2.
The reason SR2 was hilarious was because you had this character that could be made as cool or goofy as you wanted them to look, and then they acted like total badasses with over-the-top action and drama scenes. It was a mixture of "this shit is crazy and ridiculous" to the audience, but the characters in the world took it completely 100% dead serious and plausible. It's sort of like how Baki treats its characters and world, you have people pulling grenades in fights and snapping nerves with their fingers but everyone acts like it's totally normal and serious and that's what makes it hilarious. Please stop with the Deadpool levels of fourthwall breaking "lolsorandumb!" leddit tier and try-hard adult humor.
Also, make it a reboot with full environment destruction since we all know Red Faction is dead in the water.
