I found SR2 in a thrift shop and played through it recently, it was pretty good, I was thinking about getting SR3 or 4 recently but if 5 is going to come out I will consider it, SR2 was good but it needed to have some deeper mechanics. I like this idea. Although if it went too serious it would suck as well, flying planes and shit is fun.

I recommend 3, but not 4.
3 has some lame comedy, but ir's actually pretty solid in a lot of ways. I'm still surprised at how much there is to do in that game compared to something like GTA V.
4 has so many horible aspects. Cars and weapons are useless because you have superpowers, which could've been cool, but the controls feel too stiff. High flying jumping should feel satisfying, but it isn't.
4 also takes place at night for the ENTIRE game. No bright skies, no weather variety. Just night for your entire playthrough. Garbage.
Gat Out of Hell isn't even worth mentioning.
