where did i say it was hard? it's incredibly tedious. none of the souls games are particularly hard, they just force you to play slow and backtrack. that's incredibly tedious for people not striving to be epic gamers.

I would argue the opposite. This is the exact sort of game you want to play as an adult because there's actual progress to be made. What not to play as an adult are games like DotA where you haven't progressed for shit for 5 hours but only got mad, and now it's 4 am and you gotta go to work in 2 hours. In general, any """"adults""" playing mobas or tedious shit like 4x games are beyond help, unless they do it as a job.

No shit Dark souls at its release wasn't suppose to be speed through but if you know what you're doing in multiple playthrough its something you can do. It's like any good metroidvania with sequence breaks

i just did, you encounter the same enemies over and over again and engage with them the same basic way every time (please dont shill int builds because that was an afterthought and i broken). i have a 145 iq so i might get bored more easily than other people who think spamming roll and attack is fun for 40+ hours.
