Absolutely.
It has its flaws but what it makes up for, it produces a game virtually equal in quality to the first KOTOR. Nevertheless, I wouldn't place it above the first game.
Dead wrong. KOTOR, either one, is easily one of the top 5 RPGs EVER produced. They have no rivals.

It's not that 2 is unfinished but it is somewhat unrefined due to lack of time.
1 is not a perfect game by any means though, as 2 easily polished its worst aspects.
