So some guys disassembled Metroid Prime and are now making a source port for PC

And? They can't just stop you from tinkering with software

Nintendo had ground to stop a dude who remade Bomb Omb Battlefield in Unity, they're definitely going to have the ground to stop a group who is straight up doing the entirety of Metroid Prime

But it's not. You're a clueless console gamer, so I guess that excuses you, but a source port is 100% original code. Noone part of anything Nintendo made.

That idiot was also distributing Nintendo assets. A source port requires you to have the original game.

They did it with AM2R, this is no exception. Fuck you Metroid retards.

it's still the actual assets from Metroid Prime, outside of code, they didn't remake all the models or anything like that.

I love it when people make asses out of themselves trying to seem smart.
The hits just keep on coming

That was a full game which's release included Nintendo properties.

You damn console owner. The devs of this will only ever release their own original code. You will need to have your own copy of the game. How can Nintendo stop anyone from releasing original code?

>user has no argument
>l-lol you guys are just trying to look smart aren't you hahaha...ha

Ugh, I bet you own a Wii U... and have no idea what's the difference between code and assets.

Protip: you can't trademark the way code functions. So if someone writes original code that runs user provided Metroid Prime assets, it's 100% fine.
