They make it better, but "worth playing again" is a stretch.

Skyrim at its core is a broken, ugly mess of a game. Mods help of course, but it never feels "good" to play.

Yes, duh. Everything is improved by mods, with the only exception being the story I'd imagine, but a shit story with fun gameplay isn't the worst thing in the world. Look at sekiro.

And even then it's more of a challenge not to force yourself to just look at the wiki and immediately go to where they are, much more fun to play with a full RP modlist and use the in-game hints to discover them naturally
