It mostly started as a reaction to George W. Bush, who was very vocal about how his religious beliefs informed his decisions. Dawkins and his kind were trying to raise awareness and get people to vote for politicians who had a more informed method of making decisions.

People burned by low church folk evangelical religion, or at least people who perceive that they were. They either become feral atheists who cannot even hear the word 'God' or see a church decorated in low church style without thinking of their parents, or 'smells and bells' Cathodox who take after Oscar Wilde as romantic liberals or a weird twisted mirror image of their evangelical father as turbotrads.

I read shittons of wikipedia articles on history and when it's lacking I go to academic sources. Sometimes I will go even to foreign language sources. It becomes quite clear that Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam quite literally civilized those bloodthirsty and sexually degenerate Romans, Arabs, Aryans, Chinese, and Yamato from their paganism. God really is good, but He's only good only if He is worshipped by organized religion. But now His name is openly tarnished by effete rich leftists and merchants that exist only by exploiting the wealth production of the world's religious population. They concentrate in the developed world and spread their diseased lifestyle among the lower classes so that after they die more can follow to replace their declined birth rate. Nowadays I read it philosophy/theology books and papers so that I can find objections to those pro-atheistic, absurdist, nihilist, Reformed, Evangelist, and pagan arguments for their version of the metaphysical realm or nonexistence of and synthesize my own system for a Catholic New World Order. Some things from my pledgling system I can implement right away because of my background in engineering. In the human search for theosis we continually improve ourselves through exercise and aesthetic care- surgery, braces, skincare- that goes beyond therapeutic and is accepted by most people on a natural basis. Therefore the idea of replacing bodyparts with cybernetics should be made popularly accepted through propaganda and backed by Church teaching. It is one step towards creating Catholic neo-nobles that rule over the heathen, ursury-using, and atheist underclasses through virtue of physical superiority. The Gospel will be made available and encouraged for all so the maximum amount of souls shall be saved for Judgement Day.

God is real, but God doesn't give a fuck whether you believe in them. God is realizing themself through us, and when we act in good faith we actualize God's will. i've been burned out recently and kinda needed a break. a priest friend of mine borrowed several books to me about scripture study but i want to know more about catholic views on social issues/arguments ie 'why does God allow children to develop cancer and suffer?' (i believe the answer to this from a faith filled perspective is either a) what is evil to us may not be evil to God OR b) there is a certain randomness and free will in our bodies that would cause such things without God's intervention which can't be true because then the entire 'God has a plan for everyone' idea kinda goes downhill so i'm guessing it's a)

It is true religion treats God as needing validation but everyone requires validation. Did you not validate your own beliefs in your response? Our natural good demands we seek validation from the ones we love and love us so that we may live in community. The ultimate good, which is God, should be adored and emulated so we can adore and emulate others in virtue.

Wrong. Dawkins explicitly stated that on a scale of 1 - 7, 1 being totally convinced God exists and 7 being totally convinced God does not exist, he places himself at a 6. What science can show is how different cultures personify aspects of their specific situation onto their gods through the anthropological study of different cultural groups, lending credibility to the idea that the specifics of any one god claim is overwhelmingly impacted by a person's own bias, meaning specific god claims should be taken as cultural, not factual.
