At this rate if you are a fan of any team here besides the Pats it's almost inevitable you will not end the season at the apex of the division and you're doomed to mediocrity
Instead of the three lower teams focusing on the Superb Owl which is impossible as long as the Patriots exist how about they all merge into a superteam and prioritize on keeping the Pats out of playoff contention and possibly injuring their star players
The NY/MIA/BUF JetBillPhins
Brady would have to play against this monolith 6 times LMAO
At this point, yeah might as well. How bad could it be?
Ryan Gutierrez
The division is retarded. Move the Dolphins to the AFC south, move the Colts to the AFC north and move the Ravens to the AFC east. Now it all makes sense
Ethan Flores
They would still be shit lmao
Thomas Moore
Just switch the colts and dolphins. Ravens belong in the norf for historical reasons and rivalries
Christian Morris
>Just switch the colts and dolphins. Ravens belong in the norf for historical reasons and rivalries Except the Colts are trash so it won't even change anything. The Ravens are eastern and are actually a good team
Oliver Clark
how are they so bad? how
Logan Butler
Yeah that's exactly what we need. 4 utter shit franchises in one division instead of 3. Are you fucking high? I do not want one of the Texans, Dolphins, Jaguars, or Titans automatically getting in the playoffs. Just having a division that weak makes me sick. No. AFCS and AFCE are fine. They both at least have one competent team.
Liam Phillips
Texans are actually a good team, and the Titans are decent. Dolphins should be in the south because they're actually in the fucking south
Cameron Garcia
>only franchise that has never appeared in a conference championship game >good Pick one and only one.
>the Titans are decent Being a perennial 8-8 team does not make you good. No. Just no.
The honest changes that they could make that would balance the divisions better would make the team placements more geographically wacky than they already are. And honestly it's not really a problem that should be solved by forcing division parity because franchise strength can shift dramatically based on coaching and personnel hires with time. The Patriots are a prime example. If they'd put the Patriots in the AFC North and the Browns in the AFC East, you'd all be talking about how much of a shitty joke the Steelers and Ravens are and how stupidly powerful the Jets were or some shit.
The franchises aren't inherently good or bad, and they will naturally shift with time. Just like the Broncos plunged into irrelevancy after Peyton retired, and the Steelers and Colts, despite being long standing AFC juggernauts, are about to implode with the loss of Roethlisberger and Luck. These things sort themselves out.
Joseph Hall
>only franchise that has never appeared in a conference championship game When judging a teams ability the only season that matters is the current season
Thomas Flores
Miami is unironically culturally more (Norf)Eastern than Southern though because it's full of Jew York transplants desu
Lucas Taylor
Why don't they just focus on giving brady a career ending injury? They have no hope of winning anything while he's playing anyway. Getting 15 yard penalties on late hits every play doesn't really matter.
Charles Sullivan
miami should have done this tank job years ago. they are on the right track though. i know its fucked but how else are you gonna get better. get as many picks as you can
Jayden Garcia
I actually prefer tanking one year then going 8-8 and being an afterthought with no hope.
Anthony Baker
Just move the Pats to the NFC East in place of the Redskins. They’ll never win another Super Bowl.
Asher Ross
this. go north of orlando and you're in "south-east america" but in miami? you're in a mix of latin america and north-east america. it's not southern in any way shape or form bar geography
Liam Baker
>Population 31,458
RARE
Jack Jackson
>Actually believing this
Brody Brooks
They'd still get blown out
Lucas Collins
Actually they'd never lose another superbowl because all 3 of their losses are to nfce teams
Julian Long
By improving the members of your roster through coaching. Patriots prove that doing the work on all levels leads to success
Angel Collins
Patriots fan here, fuck it, we'll take the Steelers in the east. Lord knows we whoop on them too.
Jose Reed
KEK you'd have to merge the entire league into a superteam to beat this Patriots squad
Well good thing the Dolphins literally just hired the highest ranking available member of the Patriots staff to be their head coach genius
Hunter Ross
Flores is a great hire. It's not his fault the front office is handcuffing him.
Tanking doesn't work in handegg. It breeds a losing culture. See Andrew Luck.
Connor Clark
Newsflash retard: the entire league is doomed. The Super Bowl champions added Antonio Brown, Josh Gordon, Jamie Collins, and Michael Bennett. And they got the best WR in the draft, and Winovich looks like the next Clay Matthews. They are the #1 team in the league, and there's a power gap between them and whoever is #2
>Why don't they just focus on giving brady a career ending injury?
Brady doesn't take many big hits, he always gets rid of the ball first, so someone would have to flagrantly try to injure him after the play was already dead, which would never happen because he's probably the most well respected player in the league among his peers.
Leo Sanchez
I like how delusional faggots think the ravens would be a big problem for the pats but they have a 3-10 record against the pats since they became an organization
Jacob Garcia
And that was when they had January Joe and a defense full of literal head hunting murderers. Now they're a flash in the pan meme
Angel Sullivan
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Why is everyone acting like this season isn't a foregone conclusion? This Patriots team is the most overpowered bullshit in the history of sports. It's like the Warriors signing Durant, and then signing 5 more all stars to fill out their bench. This entire season is a fucking farce. Muh Cowboys! Muh Chiefs! Guess what... they're both playing IN NEW ENGLAND, IN THE WINTER. Have fun rooting for irrelevant teams you stupid fucking sheep. Maybe the league will be halfway watchable again if that faggot Brady ever fucking retires in the next decade
everyone is saying it, what the fuck are you talking about. You are posting in a thread that is proposing an idea which makes no sense specifically because of this fact.
You are beyond seething, you need to calm back down to seething.
Eli Ramirez
Don't need him.
Literally flush a defensive back. Need OLine help though.
Mason Green
I prefer people to at least underestimate us in comparison to the chiefs or cowboys. I love seeing egos crushed in the NE winter kek
Brody James
No, Pats are underdogs
Connor Jenkins
>the rest of the AFC east is so pathetic that Patriots fans have to come to their defense to justify their division titles
