Definitely unbiased and neutral source
Itd be sad to see what united have become if it wasnt so funny
>look guys! we are second in the Should Be table! W-we are not that b-bad!
pathetic
I might be old fashioned, but I've recently been looking at which team scored more goals, and using that to determine team ranking using a points system.
I've been giving a team which scores more goals 3 points, teams that score the same number of goals a single point (1) and teams who fail to score as many goals as their opponent 0 (zero) points.
After all the games have been played we can then see who has performed better.
fucking boomers. stop ruining sports
>the city of arsenal
It's based on the fact Utd have been getting a penalty a game but missing them
this, penalties have xG of 0.76
just the xG difference in a game betwwen two teams, the bigger the difference is the more likely a team was earning expected points
This chart is fucking retarded. Analytics babies just dont get football.
>stat geeks really think Dabbing Ngubus United actually have a 76% chance of successfully scoring a penalty
This is why I have a hard time fully trusting stats desu
>Sheffield
Wednesday BTFO
>expected
was it retarded too when they told us that Man Utd is heavily overperforming last year?
>xG
>xPTS
Yes.
This thread sucks as does MUnited.
xFaggot
Legit question, if a measure like xG or xPTS doesn't really approach actual goals or points, wouldn't it render its calculation formula wrong?
