Reminder book autists will tell you only the first 5 seasons of GoT were good, when in fact season 6 was awesome as well
The drop in quality occured in season 7, when they went from 10 to 7 (and now even to 6) episodes for each season, so they now have to rush through the story.
Also it became much more Hollywood-tier and therefore predictable now.
