Hello motorsport. There is nothing on TV and on a deep cable channel there is a DTM series race on TV. I know its Touring Cars but how high level is this race? These cars are on TV so rarely here i have no idea how high tier this series is.

Why are so many MotoGP racers southern euros?
Only Spain and SEA care about motogp
Spain has been historically shit at car racing for some reason (maybe the lack of Spanish auto manufacturers in racing or just being poor I don't know) so all their racing interest that inevitably exists for such a warm country goes into motorcycles, which led to Spanish companies holding most of the commercial rights which results in pushing Spanish riders even more. Italy is just Rossi effect honestly, they weren't any more common than bongs, Japanesus, and cunts until recently. They still aren't even a lot more in MotoGP, they're just more common in the MotoGP ladder while other nationalities stay in their national development series more.
Oh right also they're manlets which gives them an advantage in small displacement classes. Which is part of why American, Australian, and British GP riders tend to come from production racing anyways.
to compliment , the spanish domination really only started in the 800 era, before that like says they really just dominated the lower classes since the national market specialiced in small displacement bikes, the brits left when they started using different bikes to the ones in the world championship, and the americans pretty much after the 500cc era was over

Better weather south of the Alps. South Euro's are poorer and bikes are cheaper to own, so they start off young on scooters and move up to road bikes. Cars are better suited to the north.
There was 3 full time Americans in MotoGP as recently as 2013, they just dried up once DMG ran American road racing into oblivion.

the engine was probably still running because his left hand was on the clutch, its easier to wait for the marshals to pick up the bike than switch off the engine and having to push the bike up the pits, also he was looking down and downshifting before he fell, he likely didn't want to release the clutch and cause damage to the gearbox

as far as i know it's not mandatory, australia doesn't do it, and that section is going to be a transport stage, anyway everyone is fine and there will be no legal actions neither from hyunday or the truck so hopefully this will be the only off track anectode

Interlagos is in a scary neighborhood in Sao Paolo though, with several team members and even drivers getting mugged and car jacked over the years when going to the circuit from their hotels. Turn left Dale...and it gets you in the door!!! From here it is a long, steep climb all the way down the road. Get off (if you're doing this without a guide you may have to get on the pavement for that) and take the right side trail up to the trailhead you've just come from. When you get to the foot of the mountain you'll find a signboard saying your trail is no longer accessible, get off! Follow the signs down the side of the hill, and up for about 100 feet.
A bit of traffic on the way up is all you need. Take some pictures and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
