>oh look, it's another episode of pitchfork hates TOOL for some reason
This fucking review has it all!
>Comparing them to cringe King Crimson
>Dissing how long and "boring" the tracks are (even though they review other long repetitive albums like Meshugga just fine)
>Bringing up Maynard's sexual assult allegations that had 0 proof randomly
Fuck this shit, they barely reviewed any of the music
Oh look, it's another episode of pitchfork hates TOOL for some reason
someones mad that maynard is a pedophile
Because he touched your underage zoomer ass?
I'm just gonna keep pretending Tool broke up after 10,000 days.
Thank god Cloudkicker put out a new album
if you're looking for tool replacements try this
Looks like it's over for Tool
So you admit he’s a pedophile
This was a mediocre album, stop trying to persuade yourself it was anything more than this
>king crimson is cringe
proof you're a pseud that thinks Tool is fucking ingenious. Go back and listen to your Deftones
hahaha youre so fucking mad
I just would like to see a review based upon the music made
you've misunderstood, pitchfork was saying they are cringey knock offs of King Crimson, which doesn't make sense.
You've misunderstood. We wan't to talk about how much a let down this album is and suggest music that can fill the void left in it's mediocre wake.
>cringe King Crimson
stopped reading there
Speaking of albums that fill the void
This is bait, but the average Meshuggah track doesn't even go over 7 minutes.
>they barely reviewed any of the music
Welcome to music reviewers
Tool has always been edgelord shit for dudes who wear trenchcoats in the summer; they were never going to pass the minimum Pitchfork standards for cool
>shit talking deftones
Is there a torrent?
Can you even shit talk deftones? I mean, aside from that music video with the sharks...
Even though I knew they'd bring up that accusation against Maynard, I'm still disgusted. You'd think at this point all critics would agree that they need to separate the art from the artist. He was accused of rape on an anonymous Twitter account, the accuser never substantiated their claim, and they never pursued further legal action. You can't just turn a guy who got accused of a crime into a villain. Pitchfork is terrible.
king crimson are awesome
But the album is mediocre, OP. Stop this irrational butthurt.
p4k was right about lateralus tho
Even Deftones' worst album is better than Fear Inoculum
1. i couldn't tell if i didn't like this album or i just don't like tool very much anymore. i tried to listen to it as if i was still 16 and i think my 16 year old self wouldn't like it very much either. i felt like it was a significant step below 10,000 days.
2. this age we live in where people can accuse you of anything with zero proof or evidence and the public just runs with it is scary as fuck.
not enough niggers or thots
looks like they nailed it.
Nah, even people who hate nu metal usually say Deftones were the best one
Deftones were pretty shit at nu metal desu. They didn't get good until White Pony and even that one had a few nu metal songs. I'll still take any post-Around The Fur Deftones album over any Tool album any day
There's a board for that, user.
>Worst Tool album
>Pitchfork still gives it the highest rating they've given to any Tool album
Didn't they give Aenima and Lateralus a 2-3 rating with some of the worst reviews ever?
Piqued my interest.
Strange, for once I agree with pitchfork.
The commercial success of the entire operation its also strange, sometimes I feel that they've approached the entire thing by fueling the hype for 8-9 years, and youtube + dedicated rabid fan base did the rest.
Or maybe its just me, and I'm a person with awful musical taste. And I'm fine with that. Ears are mine.
>king crimson
>cringe
