Well, I didn't mean pathetic it in a bad way. I empathize with him a lot and I was talking mostly about his first years with Megadeth. Can a person hit lower lows? It's amazing that something so great came out of it. Killing Is My Business in particular is pure concentrated spite. It's almost inspirational actually.

Dave is a cartoon archetype, he's the angry bully who's constantly scheming and angry at everyone else for having a good time because he feels he is superior all the while actually has people who support him anyway who he abuses and uses as lackeys to somehow get the recognition he feels he deserves in his mind but already has in reality, guys a clown toon.

Dave's whole thing is basically "my brothers betrayed me and I had a dysfunctional relationship for a few years". Given that he was basically a kid, I can see how that fucked him up, there are shittier people in metal desu

Judging by that I'd say Dave does kind of have an excuse to be generally pissed off though again hes gotten progressively less so with his new religious awakening shit thats chilled him out

It's a testament to his tenacity more than anything, dude went through so much shit. It's incredible that he's still sane
