True, but the first four Metallica albums are all 10's imo

I found it to be disappointing to say the least.

I absolutely loathe the drums (both sound and actual playing, horribly tasteless). The songs are nice to listen to but get tiring after a while, at some point it doesn't even feel like it's the same song and the line between different songs blends.
As a result I felt like the individual songs had no identity of their own, but that might just be me still getting used to the album.

Quite the opposite, I went in wanting to like it so much, making the disappointment even worse.
