Post-Rock thread
I love pretty much all of GY!BE's discography, been trying out Mogwai too and like what ive heard so far by them. Looking for some god-tier post-rock/ambient albums to listen to, any recs?

Check out Swans. They started out as no-wave, then became a more gothic noise rock band, then became post-rock. Soundtracks For The Blind is their post-rock magnum opus, but it’s worth just listening through their whole discography

The tl;dr:
>Bands been playing and recording a ton of stuff
>Michael Gira has literal trunk fulls of old tapes he hasn’t used
>decides to record a bunch of new material and mix it with all the old material
>the album has samples of the last decade of Swans materials, a suspect being wiretapped by the fbi, Michael Gira interviewing his father, some of the material was recorded live and some wasn’t. They tried making a movie a while back but never did, the soundtrack for that is mixed in too
It’s really good
If you want to feel how it feels to exist.
