>Depressive Black Metal but not droning and annoying. >Influenced most heavily by Christian Death and were lucky enough to have a member help us write some lyrics for a track. >Formed in Japan but Canada based. >Influenced by Silencer, Heartless, Clan of Xymox, Sisters Of Mercy, and many other deathrock acts.
Really great, I love the synth touches and your production in general is very satisfying. Lyrics are a bit cheeseball for my taste but that's a minor point.
>experimental/avant-garde Jazz-ish >with vocals and lyrics (clean vocals start around 6:25) >first half chaotic/dissonant, second half (around 6:00) contains drums, is more melodic, somewhat brighter, with a kinda anthemic finish >features fellow creator Vlürch as a guest vocalist in first half >prominent, heavily-effected bandura >first time I’ve actually committed to playing my trombone on record >field recordings
This is the first single from Every Day Is Another Step Around the Fire
>First wave Black Metal >Bathory Cover >Black Metal vocals
Came back last week with a cover from Bathory's excellent "A Fine Day to Die" (1988), I'm finishing the vocals for verse 2 & 3 right now so be sure to check it out.
This is a vocal demo mostly, all the instrumentation is made by VST. Looking for feedback on the mix + mastering.

New music this Summer and Fall!!
AVAILABLE TO STREAM OUR DISCOGRAPHY ON ALL MAJOR PLATFORMS! If you are a Spotify user, please give us a follow and save some of our tunes! Spotify uses evil Al Gore Rhythms (algorithms) based on streams/follows/saves to determine who gets placed on playlists with massive reach. These playlists expand an artist's fan base and get their music heard by potentially thousands of listeners interested in similar music that would otherwise have no opportunity to hear it. You could help a fellow Yea Forumssician by taking 20 seconds or so to follow us and save some of our music on Spotify. Thanks :)
really nice, i dig the layering with the acoustic, i like your voice
Cool guitar soundz
not a fan of the mixing, it sounds really distant, probably too much verb, also i agree with the user talking about the jazz thing, but good intentions keep working
Thanks for the rec! This track of yours is actually really great though, really great balance and it comes off authentic and heartfelt despite using some really orthadox trap kinda techniques. It's cool, you're onto something really great on all fronts with this.
Not my type of music, sounds too much like what's on the radio 9.5/10 Love it reminds me of radiohead 10/10 best thing I found in these threads in a long time Very good why is the track set on private tho?
Love this, wish it was on youtube. Got some bars my brother, also love the moody texture of the beat, and the overall vibe and aesthetic of your style. The art is mad too.
Feels like '80s Berlin or Miami vice. Serious vibes off of this one. Great baseline and a very groovy track. And the whistle synth sounds like if King Crimson did synthwave. Hats off to you my man.
Eerie, calming and tranquil. A spell or a trance with a full moon and some clouds or something like that. Deep in the suburbs with the city buses going by.
the vocals at 2:20 on the track California friends are so emotional! oh my god, wish you lived closer too me, been wishing for vocal talent like yours for a grip.
Aiden Moore
lol its literally all the same people from last thread
Wyatt Powell
does anyone actually discuss shit here, or does everyone just say "great job" and post their own shit?
Julian Hill
how much fake xanax do i have to take to make this sound good?
Lucas Martinez
dont be afraid of eq-ing, subtly distorting, and compressing your guitar. the vocals have some interesting dreamy production, but the guitars need some wetness to them.
Xavier Turner
i was really just talking about "anger".
"first choice" sounds pretty great, actually. Maybe do more with the drums. (ie the kick could be bassier and "boofier". Maybe a gated reverb on the snare. Change up the high hat, dont be afraid of using open high hats, and crash symbols every measure)
(maybe find a new drum sample pack all together)
Jaxson Perry
I try to be really specific. I have made some meaningful connections and almost exclusively by being really honest with people, particularly through the sound-cloud platform itself. Even done a colab and ended up in a discord or two from here. You just have to do a lot of the legwork sometimes. I do this really passively and use it as a compass of sorts just for direction for off the wall stuff to try. Just don't take it so seriously, friend. a one way connection isn't a "loss" and someone disusing your music isn't an obligation.
