dont be afraid of eq-ing, subtly distorting, and compressing your guitar. the vocals have some interesting dreamy production, but the guitars need some wetness to them.

i was really just talking about "anger".

"first choice" sounds pretty great, actually. Maybe do more with the drums. (ie the kick could be bassier and "boofier". Maybe a gated reverb on the snare. Change up the high hat, dont be afraid of using open high hats, and crash symbols every measure)

(maybe find a new drum sample pack all together)

I try to be really specific. I have made some meaningful connections and almost exclusively by being really honest with people, particularly through the sound-cloud platform itself. Even done a colab and ended up in a discord or two from here. You just have to do a lot of the legwork sometimes. I do this really passively and use it as a compass of sorts just for direction for off the wall stuff to try. Just don't take it so seriously, friend. a one way connection isn't a "loss" and someone disusing your music isn't an obligation.
