I did 8 years, 2 in Iraq. Don't do it. It's bullshit.

Because I came from a middle class family, and aren't a minority.

I'm too fat, too old, and too educated.

Did serve, its poorly managed.

I did 8 years, 1 in Iraq and one on a MEU on ship (for 10 months)

Do it. It builds character

A MEU huh? Serving your country on mess duty

because i'm a convicted felon

2004-2008 USMC infantry, deployed to Fallujah twice.
yuuuuuut

Cos I’m going to serve in the airforce which takes more training since I’m not a grunt Neanderthal

I did. I got killed in iraq

F

No, I was the postal bitch. Going around handing mail out to everyone and getting yelled at by the gunny for being a shitbird marine

At switched MOS after that and cleaned up my act. Got out a sergeant and did 8 years honorably

*I switched

Because I don't approve of it.

I hate the taste of crayons.

imagine wanting to be a walmart employee with a gun

Semper fucking fi devil dog. I was in Habbaniyah and got switched over to Fallujah to help the Iraqi police

yut yut, semper fi back

Epileptic

THIS.
I'm not getting my ass shot off so Unleaded gas drops 5 cents, or so the president's approval rating can go up 2%.

Trust me when I say this. As I was in the Air Force. You are a Neanderthal grunt until you reach E-5. Doesn't matter which job you get.

With your type of attitude, I don't want you in my Air Force. Go join the Marines with that mindset.

Active duty Navy now, E6 with 8, its really not for everyone.

because I got academic scholarships to university. Didn't pay a dime all the way through grad school, and now my employer is reimbursing me while I work on my doctorate.

Because I am clinically obese and suffer from mental health issues so I am exempt from service....thank God.

Too fat

Doing the dishes and taking trash out every day builds character.

Because i don't want to

Yea you know, for me it did. It helped make me who I am

Being in karate is superior. The karate-kas' job is never over, and we dont get any respect at all for it actually. Its harder its longer and guess what its a better fighter. Fuck the military unless its in current use. Karate-ka all the way. Who would you rather recruit, a fat b tard who sits online or a black belt martial artist? Ill wait

Oh.. And to Cont. What I was saying in
All branches never stop training. You're an ignorant fuck and I hope the T.I.'s straighten you out. Or make you wash out.

me too, feels good.

I ain't dying for Israel nigga

this guy gets it

Doesn't matter what you are. Cause that shit doesn't matter when you have bullets flying over your head and your best friend just took one in the chest and he's bleeding and crying all over you while hot casings are jumping into your vest all while trying to fend off the most vicious assholes that will stop at nothing to make sure they kill you or capture you to kill you. You just need someone to cover you while you reload and pull the dirt out of your ears from the mortar blast that happened not 10 feet from you.

If you went literally any direction in life, it would make you who you are. What if you're a shitbag?

Imagine wanting to be a pawn for Israel.

I have asthma and a small penis

Grew up in a well-to-do family that stressed education. Plus my parents loved me enough not to let me die at the hands of some sand nigger.

Do it! Will be the greatest decision you will ever make. VA piad for my undergraduate and now they are paying for MBA program. Plus I get 2235 a month for telling a VA doc all the shit I did and saw while being in Iraq for 2 years. Also got the best house on the block because of the VA home loan

And I'm telling you that a karate Kyle would have a better mindset and physical ability and a mental capacity to do such a thing rather than someone who'd plain and simple didn't know what they were doing. but then again I wouldn't expect someone who has never trained their body as seriously as me to understand the world in the way it works as much as me.

God bless

lol stolen valor!!!!!!!!! stop lying

Told my family I was gonna enlist as an officer, they told me if I did I was kicked out by the end of the week. After I moved out the passion was already killed and replaced with other things.

And I'm telli g you the "karate Kyle" was the one that took one in the chest and "Yea Forumstard Steve" was the one that threw me an extra mag and had the where withal to make sure we kept moving otherwise we'd be dead. We all get trained the same retard. Under fire it doesn't matter. We all react the same because we were all trained the same. Nice bait btw.

cos i want a career

"enlist" as an "officer". Two different things.

I'm not stupid.
Have fun being brainwashed and putting your life on the line so some fat ass behind a desk can make money.

You're not helping or defending anyone, or anything.

They wouldn't let me because I was prescribed adderall at 14

I talked to a marine recruiter when I was 18. This was pre 911. He heard my knees pop and said it was a no go. Had every intention of being a lifer. Decided to hit the workforce when I heard it was a no go.

Did it, can recommend

Bullshit. Recruiters have every incentive to get you in, and popping knees is normal.

I was literally minutes away from signing a 5 year contract with the army. Was at meps, passed physical, was going through the security clearance when I started asking myself "what the hell am I doing". After I got cleared I told them I was backing out and they literally were bringing anyone they could, from guys who worked at the mos I chose to high command dudes. Let's just say they weren't very happy but I was ecstatic.

I Rember they were real fussy back then.

More details please!

Do you regret your decision?

Broke my hand and had a work accident that messed my foot up. Otherwise I was ready to go after having taken my asvab. I guess it worked out for the best in the end

don't want to have some guy play god in my life

You’re a pussy

Nope

Nah, I just realized my life wasn't as bad as I thought

I had better options.

he's just smarter than you, no reason to get mad about it.

I’m not mad, it’s his life, not mine. He’s just a massive pussy, that’s all. A bitch is a bitch, no matter how small his penis is

Attached: 1502403496581.jpg (382x497, 103K)

>it's his life
>attacks him anyway
oh you mad

Cause no one tells me what to do

why would I want to voluntarily risk my life and/or just go through a painstaking and relatively boring/difficult few years only to come out with less chance of succeeding in finding a solid career?

They won't let me in because of my police record

I somehow did: 15 years ago I was hired as a civilian instructor by our Army, along with a handful of fellows, to provide a quite specialized training for a few selected groups of US Army Rangers about to be deployed somewhere else where the topography and other geographical features were almost identical to those here in my country.
Later they would train their troops at the States after acquiring experience here.
So, I was not serving directly in the military but somehow I did (here, if you have a college education and/or you don't want to serve, you don't have to).
My sister is an Army Lt.Col but she is a medical professional (traumatologist) who enrolled in the Army just for an adventure sense (and, oh, because she started her career there with the rank of Captain).
She got a M1/TCMC with the US Army a few years ago, in the same way the Rangers got their training here.

Bad shoulders, wouldn't be able to do the PT.

i did. us navy.

> only to come out with less chance of succeeding in finding a solid career?
yeah that happened to me. you end up joining the work force later in life and lose prime earning years. i'm fucked for retirement and make less for someone at my age/education does for average.
