Just bought my first gun two weeks ago for home defense and self defense. My new flat dark earth CZ P-10c.

I go to way too many events in town where there is no law enforcement presence. I live in a city of 350,000 but we only have about 500 active duty officers. I can't trust the cops to protect me when they are always 10 minutes away.

I'll admit it is getting expensive be it with keeping a supply of target ammo, need to get a comfortable holster for concealed carry as well. I have been having a blast training with it on the firing ranges, 10/10 would recommend.

I know fuck all about revolvers, but i guess it comes down to if you want single or double action, and what caliber. As for pump shotguns Remington 870 or mossberg 500. And once again depends on the caliber for a bolt gun, mosins are cheap but if you want to put an optic on it you're kinda stuck.. so Remington 700 would be my choice in 308
