Daily reminder that you're literally retarded if you get a degree in anything but computer science

Idk, my friend is a medical studies student and he's not that bad

It was a joke dumbass read it real slow like
>nazis where a govt entity and held sway over the masses
>google is essentially the same thing
>... is a way od continuing a thought
>oh my is the realization that its essentially the same thing
The joke explained for retards like you

The pay was better, and the idea of less code seemed at the time like an upgrade. In hindsight, what that meant is I'm going to get paid a bit more to basically drop the only stimulating part of my job in favor of six meetings a day. Totally not worth it.

ok

Yeah real nice joke there champ. Was the joke that you're a fucking dumbass? If so you succeeded

>didnt get the joke
>Still didnt get the joke
>is butthurt over not understanding sarcasm or jokes.

I graduated in four years debt free with a job lined up at a decent company making $40/hr in Austin. Point being, your first paragraph is irrelevant.

I didn't name the major, so your second paragraph is irrelevant.

Also, to respond to the general notion that software engineering is replaceable, let's get something on the table: the reason a lot of low-skill coding jobs were outsourced to India in the early 90s was because people discovered that web dev wasn't so difficult that you needed to pay someone $2k a week to do it. Software engineering, which requires an extensive knowledge of algos and discrete math, design documentation, scalability, etc are not things your typical self-taught indian dev can do. That isn't going to change twenty years from now. The fact that the hold this opinion goes to show just how little you actually know about software.

And my 12-year-old Minecraft modded nephew is a better developer than Steve Jobs was. He wasn't know for his software. He was a crooked entrepreneur.

Funny that's the answer I expected. I actually love development sometimes. When I'm really into a new project and writing code is the best.

For all of the fags who are bashing computer science, what degrees are better to pursue? Not a single person has stated this.

Wageslaved to pay off my dept.

Should finish only 10k in dept
