Why do people hate well-done steaks so much?

I like knowing that I'm not gonna get salmonella poisoning from my food, and I think dead animal should taste like dead animal. I also personally enjoy a little bit of crispiness in my meat, especially beef. If I want something moist and pink, I'll eat pussy.

>Bonus Fact: Trump orders his steak well-done.

well done with ketchup or A1 sauce is fucking god tier

Because well-done is far too chewy.
>I think dead animal should taste like dead animal
Because dead animals cook themselves at the point of death.

I thought those were bricks, kek

I do not really hate well done steaks but i prefer them medium. I just hate eating steaks that you have to chew for a minute before you can eat it. The more you chew the worse the taste gets for me.

Surprisingly rare steaks are also “crispy”
A good steak always has a solid char no matter how cooked

Rare steak is cold by the time you finish eating it

you cant get salmonella from rare steak the bacteria dies during cooking

is leaking again.

For the uninitiated the risk of foodborne illness resides on the outside of the meat. Bacteria won't penetrate it. Slicing uncooked steak will introduce any present bacteria to the newly made surface areas. Grinding will of course spread it throughout.

t. guy who just finished cooking rare strips with red wine braised mushrooms

I prefer well-done, I hate when my food is swimming in liquid.
