I’m 23 and only have $300 to my name. Am I doing better or worse than most people my age?

Better than average if you don’t have any debt or impending bills you can’t pay

Odds are, you'll still only have $300 to your name when you're a senior citizen.

Enjoy the new American dream.

Get some form of education, skill-set or experience asap. Can't afford college? Take out subsidized loans.

I'm 23 and owe the government $17000 in school loans (not even half done yet) and $2000 on my credit card. Like $200 in my chequings and I think that's normal.

I'm 25 and have a 6.2L Camaro and my own house. You decide for yourself

Don’t have any debts I don’t know anybody a cent.

I’ve been going to CC for 3 years. Almost got enough credits for a liberal arts degree. I was planning to transfer to a 4 year school afterwards because CC was just to save money cause my scho has a good transfer program. Problem is I’m burnt the fuck out by school and don’t know what I want to do. My mental health is fragile and school makes me depressed.

I’m thinking about taking an apprenticeship/trade instead. At least until I figure my shit out.

What’s your story?

Rich parents
