There are so many programs both nation wide and state to get yourself off the street. Homeless people either don't know about them, are you ok mentally ill or strung out to take the time to use them

As far as I know. I used to be on them before I graduated. You don’t need a job to qualify for the state Medicaid program though, which also includes limited dental and vision coverage as well.

No idea why that is, but it is how it is. If you are also eligible for welfare cash assistance, then you also need a bank account and you can only have a bank account with a permanent residency, which you'd only have if you had a job, which would make getting welfare pointless.

That whole thing is even topped by some european countries, for example germany; If you are homeless, you can not be eligible for welfare as you lack a residence, which means nobody is paying for your insurance. German law dictates that everyone has be insured and if you can't prove that you were insured (even if you never went to the ER or anything) in a specific timespan, then you are acrueing debt. Roughly $900 USD a month. Even if you manage to stop being homeless, you will now have a lifelong debt you have to pay off.

Move to upstate NY. You get section 8(rent money),WIC(food money),and a check for spending money twice a month. I work around these people and wonder why I work at all. They get by nicely on their free shit and I have to bust my ass just to break even.

Truth is homeless people can and do get SNAP. I worked at a shelter, we'd sign them up using an accelerated application. Their mailing address is the shelter, whether they stayed there or not.

Most homeless are rich and have a home its an act because they can make more panhandling then doing anything the rest are drug addicts that don't want to /cant pass a drug test and then the 1% that are mentally ill

You don't need a bank account to get welfare, you do need an address. There are government programs that offer housing at significantly reduced cost (% of paycheck), sometimes they'll even float the bill. You can also collect unemployment/disability if you were a vet (which a lot of homeless claim to be). There are hoops to jump through, but a lot of homeless people have reasons they're homeless, typically addiction of some sort. Also, the hobo population isn't as high as the news might have you believe, the statistic counts many apartment dwellers if that are month to month or multi family homes, like people who live with their parents but have children of their own.

The real reason so many homeless who beg on the corner aren't seeking financial aid is because they pull decent money ($1000-1500/month). You have to report under $10k per year to the IRS to qualify for the best funded programs
