Videogames incentivize and train people to use guns for mass shootings. Flight simulator videogames were used to train the 9/11 terrorists to fly into the towers. Play cards, go outside to play kickball. You don't need videogames. So unless you think your computer pretend is more important than the lives of children you should allow the government to ban videogames
Basically the same argument, with the same level of validity, watch the incoming rage.
Well luckily for you the founders recognized this problem and left a mechanism in the constitution to amend it. Good luck doing so.

I have a 357 magnum on night stand and an AK47 in the closet, only thing I’ve shot with them is paper targets. I like to have them around just in case some piece of shit breaks into my house, not gonna wait for the police. They can haul away the dead criminal whenever they show up.

Wish I had swallowed by drink before seeing this post. Thanks for painful chuckle user.

Look behind the curtain. A lot of that stuff is driven specifically by the companies that are profiting from the legislation. There's no actual "government" left, it's all just fully-purchased figureheads.
For example, the health care thing? Totally driven by the insurance companies. Regulations? Always successfully skirted or nullified for bigger companies. Paydays? Only for the big companies that benefits from massive tax cuts and the politicians that accept bribes. The government is actually going broke because there's so much corporate welfare.
Again, don't blame the puppet for what the hand does.

Been thinking about getting a SIG Sauer as an EDC just because of its size and fair reliability.
But I doubt I’d ever need it.

A dweeb starts shooting in one of the most heavily armed states in the US and nobody is able to stop him until the cops arrive.

>implying there is a dividing line between government and business You sound reasonable enough, are you really going to relinquish the right to the best form of self-defense civilians are allowed to own? This won't stop shootings in the US, there are 400 million firearms there, the toothpaste is out of the tube. Best thing you can do is be willing and ABLE to defend yourself.
“Of all evil I deem you capable: Therefore I want good from you. Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws.” Think about this quote for a second, and accept the fact that humans are not inherently good.
