Are there any married Yea Forumsros here? How much should I pay for an engagement ring? Is 100 bucks enough or too cheap?
Are there any married Yea Forumsros here? How much should I pay for an engagement ring...
That's way too much. Most you should spend is $25, ideally $10.
3 months salary
1000 minimum if you're a chef at Wendy's
It's fine as long as you aren't dating a gold digger.
Engagement rings are a scam, pay like $5 on the engagement ring, and make sure she doesn't spend more than $5. Then give her $1000 in stuff that is actually useful to her. Like maybe a large garden, for homegrown crops. (potatos, carrots, apple trees, orange trees)
moisonite ring or some other lab grown thing. they shiny sparkle and durable cost less. Diamonds are only valuable first time they get sold. dont go to a box store, find a jeweler. if you go to a box store you are paying mostly rent and upkeep of the fancy services they provide you. If a girl makes a big stink on where and how much you spent on a symbol of love then you pretty much have an idea what future is like haha. You can be frivolous on jewelry when your older and secure and committed
Engagement ring?
Just buy a handgun and use it on yourself immediately, it’s a lot quicker and far less painful way to kill yourself
I wont be a doucher. My Fiance and I picked the ring together. It was a $700 ring that we paid $300 for. Its not always about the price of the ring. Unless she's materialist anyways.
Engagements rings are symbols/symbolic. It's the meaning not the material wealth that matters.
I got engaged without a Ring as you 'take a hand in marrage' not give a ring. We then purchased a nice small aquamarine stone. My wedding ring is Cobalt and hers is silver.
Spent less than £250 on rings in total and £6k total for the wedding. Don't buy into the meme of the wedding premium.
Says the nice little corporate stooge.
