Enhanced Weathering. Leverhulme Center for Climate Change mitigation in the UK is being funded to do research on this topic through millions of dollars of research grants from the the Leverhulme foundation(Unilever soap family philanthropic foundation). Applying between ten and fifty tons per acre per year of crushed Basalt(volcanic rock) to basically all the worlds farmland and potentially every surface of the earth. Increases the oceans capacity to sequester carbon by maintaining alkalinity and adequate dissolved ca/mg/si/trace minerals, forming carbonaceous life forms like coral and diatoms which bolster the whole oceanic ecosystem, increasing productivity of fisheries, increasing nutrient density and yields of food on land, increasing soil depth and soil organic carbon, decreasing dependence on pesticides and synthetic fertilizers... etc

Put so many tarrifs on goods from China, India, South America, and all other third world manufacturing hubs so that they either adopt the same environmental controls we have in the West, or it's no longer economically viable to buy things from there.

If they go green or go bust, either way there will be a huge reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants. 100 times more than anything we in the West could ever do.

Go back 30 years ago and turn off the power plants. That's how you stop it. If that's not an option, then we're all boned already. We broke the planet long ago and we are going to to exactly nothing to stop it from going off the cliff..

Stop having kids.

Collectively we should use all resources in pursuit of obtaining the ability to traverse the universe in search of viable planets. So fuck the earth, use it's resources and use them all so we can outlive the sun.

Humans have a "if it isnt broke dont fix way of doing things" this is actually a good thing because it allows humans to focus on what's important. Now some may say hey this is important. But unless your in a messy third world country or a species other than humans bieng eradicated from the planet. It isnt. It isnt as important as creating a human heart in the lab or curing HIV. Things similar to that in nature. When it becomes important. When it's really out of hand is when humans will address it. And by that time technological progression may stop and possible reverse the problem on it's own. It may just be out of our hands
