IMO yes.
Most of the people I know say it isn't worth it.
I just think its nice. I don't have to think for my self, I get more discipline and get to use guns n shit. I don't see a reason not to go to the army, yeah I might get called to a war but that's a risk I'm willing to take every day of the week.

For you personally? Probably not.
It is of great value to society though.

You'll hate it if you're anti-authority but regardless it's a good way to kick-start your life if you have no better ideas.

Well yes but actually no, you get to meet people, it looks good on your cv, and I just like the idea of going to the army
