Esperanto is the artificial language, of course the more reasonable term is "planned", and yeah it's easier to learn for people who speak Latin derived languages, although to be fair it's pretty easy for just about anyone

With every language comes a new understanding of the world around you - some words can't be translated from one language to another, but they can be understood in the abstract. The more words you know, the more varied your thinking.
