Why the US doesn't use the international system of units?
Right, everyone must feel superior and not retarded when asking for a 3/8 nail, of course
I wonder since I'm not from the US
Are there scientists or engineers that don't use SI in the US?
this is the Q i was going to ask
We, the US, officially do use SI. At least in international dealings. Military, science, etc. We use our own system, USCS, here at home and that shouldn't be any concern of anyone else.
Massive retool and marketing costs that really are not needed.
It serves no purpose.
We do not need to be just like you.
Because the world won't stop nagging us about it and it's a VERY easy way to troll you all.
It reminds me of the whole "It's not my wallet" thing by Patrick Star.
America can agree that the metric system is technically superior, then say "Fuck it Imperial is still the way to go baby".
We love how it drives you Europeans nuts.
engineering yes, science I don't know. much industrial and mechanical engineering is still conducted in inch standard because that's what the poor bastard who will have to install it be using.
I have heard many guys from the US complaining about it. I don't know if that is common tough.
Is there a group of people or something that want's to move from USCS there?
Why can't eurocucks use the standard system? It's called standard for a reason you moronic subhumans.
