Most of what humans do is unethical.
The question isn't about ethics it's about the most functional outcome.
Take your rape example, passing on the genetics of a rapist potentially creates more rapists in the world, as it most likely has a biological element. So, one abortion to save potentially thousands of future rapes? Where's your ethics now?
Just let other people make whatever good or bad choices they want in life. Who gives a fuck?

Personally I think the best solution to the pro life versus pro abortion issue is to find a middle ground.
Allow all women a maximum of 2 abortions. This covers emergency situations such as birth complications and rapes - and puts the onus on women to take a bit of responsibility for their actions and bodies.
