Get AIDS....

Count calories.
Eat foods with high nutritional value, but light on calories.
Gym.

Down 30 lbs due to this.

Exercise. Even just walking around the block is good.

Ensure that your energy expenditure is higher than your energy input.

You've gotta get a higher metabolism. For that you need more muscles. Muscles need crazy amounts of energy to build up and to keep, so this should be your first course of action. You may add cardio, but if in doubt of choice: go for muscle.
How to do that? There's a large variety of variants, but one variant which i liked a lot was body weight workout. It's essentially free (you might want to get some book or guide) and you can do it at home.

Secondly: Start counting calories and calculate how much you can eat. You don't have to count forever, just for about a month until you have a good feeling of how much food is okay to eat.

Thirdly: Keep going. You might want to keep doing some sort of sport forever or you'll fall back into the state where you've started off. You need to change your habits, but that is a slow process and it takes time.

whats your weight and height you fucking nigger

OP Google soylent. I started using that shit just to replace one meal a day and I've lost near 100 lbs.

Granted I also started exercising. But yea it's mostly in the diet. Use soylent stay under 1500 kcal a day and if you're anywhere above 270 you'll just start losing weight. Even more if you exercise.

diet and exercise. are you stupid?

Eating that little makes the body reduce muscles which hampers long term effectiveness of weight loss. Don't go below 500kcals / day in minus and given that an average guy doing workout can eat like 2000-2500kcals a day that's not a good idea.

Seriously: Calculate how much your body needs, substract 500 kcals and don't eat less.

Also the "soylent" stuff is probably just memes. While soy is not some devils veggie it shouldn't make you get a one sided diet like >800037714 suggests. You need a variation of food to live and one sided diets will almost always lead to some defect.
