Someone explain to me how to just start talking to girls and getting wins. Is it all just a hoax...

If you're gonna get the easy girls on VRChat you gotta have actual custom avatars to greatly improve your success. You can download premade models on vrcmods and edit them easily enough and for like 70% of the girls you meet that's more than enough, but if you want to be wayyyyyyyy more successful you need to learn how to use Blender and Unity to animate and create custom stuff that'll impress these girls. The nice thing is you can use the same thing with multiple girls though, so an hour of work could translate to A LOT of wins if you're any good.
Learning how to use Blender and Unity will greatly help you, as well as give you a very useful skillset you can transfer to potential employment opportunities later on down the road if you aren't currently working in a career job.
There's a ton of really excellent YouTube content on how to get started, but honestly it's so much effort at first that unless you're playing the game to have fun and actually create content for, it's not worth it if all you're trying to do is get wins.
I'd say without custom stuff, it gets about 3x harder to get wins.
