>The evil person is evil for some time and then learns his lesson burning in hell
Tell that to the priests in the Catholic church raping little kids and preaching on God's behalf.
Flawless, simple argument against the classical interpretation of god:
Then all you're saying is that God knowingly and willingly creates what we perceive to be evil.
God may even believe that he has created something negative - he may have willed it so in order to maintain balance in his creation.
The Bible is literally full of stories of God doing deliberate harm to test his followers. Any intelligent Christian would tell you that God is not, by definition, an example of pure good.
Fwiw I'm agnostic borderline atheist.
the fuck do you mean learn their lesson?
How is someone going to be able to apply the lesson of no gay and abstinance when theyre on fire for eternity
At least that's an argument against monotheistic religions, but try to argue against Azathoth or Cthulhu you niggur.
Ok, give me information about them and i will easily find a way to show their inconsistency.
I'm gonna post without reading one fucking reply
The average person can't understand how a rocket orbits the earth or a nuclear reactor actually works. At the heights of human understanding we grasp some of the basic concepts behind complex uses of average-ass shit that exists on one planet in our universe.
If God was so simple you could understand him in the classical interpretation, he would be so useless he wouldn't be God.
Us not understanding != it not being possible
I am not saying it is impossible for a god to exist, i am saying that the classical notions are inconsistent.
Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!
Without evil there can't be good.
Its really fucking simple everything needs a counterpart fucking ying and yang nigga.
I wont try to claim i know what god wants or is but all i know that there is something that created all of us and for a reason.
If the creator is omnipotent and omniscient, then everything is exactly the way he wanted it to be. In fact it would be pointless to even create a universe as he can simply imagine all possibilities anyway.
