I have herpes (HSV1) and so do you. What's the point in telling anyone? I have had a cold swore in the mouth maybe 3 times in my entire life (30 years old). Only concern is with babies. I think it's not even worth telling a partner since estimates are 80 percent of American adults have HSV1.

Generally, there's 'no point' in 'literally anything' if you aren't afraid of 'getting your ass vigorously beat by someone who's having a bad day that you make worse.' Life is chaotic, random, unpredictable. Adding to that-- ergo to your own lot of unpredictable messes-- is just hurting you, not others.
But the good news is not all of us are American adults, so not all of us have as shitty a life as you where you're expected to just have and live with STDs.
