user I'm going through the exact same thing, she says she loves me but she can't be in a relationship because of past experiences, it's hard to move on but the main thing to do is to use your sadness to motivate yourself to do something good for yourself, I started investing my time into the gym and although I've just started I'm starting to feel so much better about myself
Just remember user, in the future this will just be a bump in the road

>she says she loves me but she can't be in a relationship because of past experiences This hurts like a bitch, in my case she literally said she doesn't love me as much, which felt like a fucking burning bullet through my heart. I know i have to move on, but fuck it's hard..

user, I'm just going to give you the fact.
The moment you find another person is the moment you will find that person to be the same or more meaningful than your crush. Depending on the intimacy you have with her.
Everything in a relationship is about fulfilling each other's needs, nothing else. Don't be afraid of not being able to get past her, you will, worry about finding someone.

OP it sounds like your "best friend" likes you a lot but is already in a relationship. Fortunately for you, she doesn't appear to care much about that relationship if she's messing around with you. You and she call what you have "being best friends" because she wants to keep you close in case things with her boyfriend don't work out but that sucks for single old you. Basically, you need to tell her how you feel, tell her to drop her bullshit about "oh I'm just cheating on my boyfriend with you because we're just best friends" and make up her mind who she wants to be with. If she doesn't want to be with you, then drop the whole "we're best friends" act with her and treat her like she was a fat girl you weren't attracted to and move on. She'll either dump the boyfriend to be with you or you'll save yourself a lot of grief by getting out of this toxic relationship with a fickle whore.

I told her i can't see her anymore because i have feelings for her, i told her i need to keep my distance because when we see each other things start to heat up, she won't break up with her boyfriend that's for sure, she had chances but didn't, she told me she doesn't love him but still enjoys their relationship. That's why i cut contact, i don't want to be hurt everytime i see her with him.
I just need to know how to get over this feeling.

Just stop thinking about her
David Jackson
You need to stop thinking that this crush of yours is that important. I'm serious.
I'm going to bet that your perception of her is skewed and more perfect than she really is. Hence your attachment.
Find another person, nature will take its course. That next person will become meaningful, only if you understand them. Which requires intimacy.
Or wallow in your own pity.
