If time is infinite and consciousness is just a result of the neurons in our brain causing us to be aware, then without any uncertainty, we will become conscious once again at some point in the future after our death. If you were born before, then there is a very small but non-zero chance you will be born again. And in infinity all possible outcomes are certain. Therefor you will be born again in some form.
>consciousness is just a result of the neurons in our brain causing us to be aware try again
Thomas Wilson
And if the universe is infinite every possible version of you exists now & always will. So kys or not, it doesnt matter. Yawn
Justin Turner
Yes. All possible outcomes are certain. However, reincarnation is not a possible outcome... Because reincarnation is just a poo in loo street shitter superstition.
Leo Collins
I've thought this for some time now. If true it will be an incomprehensible amount of time but seem like an instant for us.
Gavin Reed
I believe there was time before the big bang, in fact I think the entire universe has been expanding and collapsing and there have probably been an infinite number of big bangs before this one.
That is why I said "if", explain
James Ward
who said time was infinite?
Liam Jenkins
>then certainly >discuss
You cant just make shit up and think it fits together
Elijah Parker
Sounds possible, at least id like to belive, but deep inside me im certain death marks the end of your consciousness.
Asher Brown
Give another explanation then
Isaac Brooks
Yes you are just a couple of neuron bundles, but important part of your neuron "setup" (the likelihood of neuron firing) is determined by memories and previous experience. There is no reason to believe that something would ever have the exact same brain setup as you.
Ryan Thompson
It isn't exactly reincarnation as in you come back as a deer or some shit, but more that given infinity your consciousness in its current form will eventually be recreated somehow.
Yeah that is my thought, I die and infinity passes and some shit has gotta happen.
If time was created before, which we know it has been because we exist and are aware of it, then it can be made again.
Please give your detailed explanation.
I want to believe as well, but in some ways it is a bit scary.
Given that you have been created before then that means there is a very small non-zero chance that you will be created again. It should never happen because the chance is so small. BUT if time is infinite, then any and all possibilities will exist at some point
Brayden Lewis
>If time was created before, which we know it has been because we exist and are aware of it, then it can be made again. Doesn't matter where you run, when the universe begins to collapse on itself time and space will rush towards the center.
Cameron Foster
Well that is the thing, no one is running anywhere. I'll be long dead before that happens. But if everything collapses to the center the same thing that happened with the big bang will happen again and a new universe will be created. If time is infinite then an infinite number of these will be created and destroyed and eventually one will have the exact set of neurons that you have now with the same memories in some form.
Jayden Cooper

It is your first time smoking pot. You are using a pop bottle and a socket. After ripping a big hit of your whitetrash tween homegrown you have come to a serbian nonsense board in order that your philsophical rantings will be heard by people more inanely bored than you are
Joshua Evans
There is only one certainty. If time is infinitely repeating and playing out we will always exist as a conscious being at some point in time. I am starting to think we are in a consciousness prison in our body. Separated from a collective consciousness that knows everything and is everything.
No sadly I'm out of weed. :( I'm just bored and thinking about what could happen after death.
That is an interesting point.
Jaxon Wright
Cool, but it doesn't, so far, disproves that consciousness derives from neurons.
Ian Nelson
Its not a prision, its your time machine. Consciousness is infinite yes? How can there be two?
Jonathan Watson
Shopped image btw
Landon Sanders
it would have to be the same events in evolution, same extinction events leading up until now, which would be improbable.
Adrian Morris
Check out Alan Watts user
Ethan Allen
Well yes of course it is improbable, but not impossible. So if time is infinite then it will eventually happen because during infinity every single thing that is possible will happen at some point.
Justin Ward
but then wouldn't it be possible that there is a loss of "energy" on the "reset" resulting in it not being infinite
Jaxson Turner
I believe the current theory is that the universe is currently expanding in all directions and is slowing down. I believe that all energy will collapse back down to the center due to gravity. At that point another big bang will happen. I think that this has been happening for infinity and will continue to do so.
Isaiah Murphy
unfortunately it may not be true, it depends on how the cycle of universe works. If universe will actualy expand forever then atoms will be so far apart that atoms will never have a chance to order themselves in a way that would allow for emergence of (You). Also just because its possible doesnt mean its probable, entropy explains it well.
Carter Ortiz
but you say every single thing that is possible will happen, so say a few molecules get away from the collapse every few hundred million times, you would eventually run out, resulting in a non-infinite timeline.
Evan Peterson
The rate of expansion is increasing by about 74km per second per megaparsec
Isaiah Turner
I believe this won't happen because the influence of gravity is infinite in every direction, however small. So eventually any particles that go far out will come back after they slow down over billions of billions of years.
I don't think this will hold true forever, I think we are just still in the early stages of this instance of the universe. Though I suppose at this point we are just getting into unknowns.
Sure looks interesting, added it to my watch list.
Justin Cooper

Well with infinity then eventually you would repeat the same memories or some shit.

“The greatest thing man will discover is that life really is like a fairy tale.” -Bashar
It has already happened and we are the embodiment of god in the flesh experiencing its creation as it unfolds through all possible realities. We are doing this at a very unconscious level at the moment but we are going quantum quickly and realizing that our existence and interaction as simple as a thought in the case of remote viewing or simple the observer effect. We are almost able to access the infinite “akashic records” of not only our past civilizations, but of all civilizations every where who came before us to this level of reality with quantum entangled devices.. I say 6-8 years the integrated circuit is history. Reading quantum news oil breakthroughs nearly every day in making quantum routers, way to encode this way better ect. Once we break through and can access the halls of data of existence that is “the quantum entangled state” as communication we will but have to decode and decipher the various millions of untold treasures from various peoples. I predict that such an achievement will eventually commission half the planets human working population to do into the database and build something, learn stuff ect. Humans will be forced to work together because of the comming ice age that is upon our doorstep and when the water recedes 200-400 feet around the coasts of the country let us not discover so many remains of “the last great global civilization” many have found evidence and have speculated upon this truth. What of our space brothers who visit us when we are in altered states? Have they not been increasing their presence year after year for many decades now? They know the time is near. The new earth will be born and they will stand by ready to assist us in the rebuilding. Any way anons. Don’t off yourself I promise you that you are in for a wild ride..buckle up and don’t off yourselves!
Eh. No. You could be “reincarnated” an infinite amount of times but not remember your prior life. Maybe in some uncharted subconscious.
Luke Price
I also thought about that OP:
But if we have infinite space, matter can be arranged in infinite forms.
Jeremiah Thompson
I want some good meth too. Cool theory. So what is the objective? The purpose?
David Allen
If what OP say is true, you will eventually repeat the same experiences that lead to that memory retention.
William Robinson
What if the universe was just a metaphor for our ever expanding minds, and that heat death is becoming a cold dead corpse.
Juan Jackson
Something can be infinite and not have all the existing futures
Liam Gonzalez
Well no you won't remember it but I'm saying you will at some point be "alive" again.
Hmmm that is true, that does make this interesting.
How high are you right now nigga
I think that is by definition impossible if it is really infinite.
Xavier Edwards
If there are infinitely many possibilities, then infinite time doesn't necessarily explore all possibilities. For example, there are infinite real numbers between 0 and 1, but that doesn't mean that all numbers are between 0 and 1. Likewise, time may not be infinite. And the only way we can talk about there being "a chance" of being born again is for that chance to be established in some manner--and then, whatever establishes that chance would be the focus of debate. I imagine all you've got going on here is, I can sort of imagine reincarnation, and that makes it possible, and that gives it some infinitesimal probability, and so on... which is just the old "God is more perfect if he actually exists" all over again.
Jason Williams
Are you sure? How many numbers are between 2 and 3? Yet there is no 4.
Aiden Nelson
Infinity contains everything.
James Harris
"you" won't be born again. consciousness will just be formed again as a new body is born
Camden Hall
No. Do you know what invented means? Time is relative. That's not a figure of speech. It's literally relative. Without things to be relative to, time does not exist.
Blake Williams
No, infinity doesn't contain everything, infinity just contains too many things to ever finish counting. It may also contain too many things to begin counting.
Adam Torres
>Well no you won't remember it but I'm saying you will at some point be "alive" again.
“You” is made by memories/experiences.
Chase Martinez
Who says time is infinite?
Brayden Bennett
nah dude, I explained it here. Another guy said something similar also. You'all have to practice some maths. lol
Easton Clark
If time goes on for an infinite amount of time, then naturally it will cover all possibilities.
Chase Rogers
no, are you guys retarded?
Jordan Jackson
That's because you're putting a limit on what's possible. You're saying "between 2 and 3". The infinity we are talking about isn't limited like that.
Cameron Walker
The propose is simply whatever you make of it. There is no purpose outside your perception of it. The things that make you smile were meant to and the things that made you sad were as well. Your belief systems will heavily influence your perception of existence to the point of creating it such as the phonemona of the stigmata. Believers of Christ with very strong conviction and perhaps a bit more natural clairvoyant ability are able to create the same wounds as Christ ect. Did Christ exist? Doesn’t matter what mattered is the belief system created a belief in line with that persons belief out of thin air. This is also common with multiple personalities disorder sufferers. On personality will have a different eye color that another. One will have cat allergies while another will not. Scars disappearing ect. Are all manifestations of the power of humanity. I digress. The purpose is the experience. God can not experience you from outside of you. God has to be inside of you to experience the world through your eyes. Since god is all things it’s not and/or it’s both/and. What does life mean to you?
Jace King
no u
Aiden Bennett
Fairly certain you are if you don't understand basic logic. Your small human brain can't comprehend infinite time, but that's okay.
Grayson Reyes
Who said time is infinite?
James Reyes
There is no proof that infinity even exists though. Spacetime is most probably finite, but simply too large for humans to ever comprehend.
Blake Nelson
Yes, our reality is limited by rules. Yeah ok if you roll a 6side dice INFINITE TIME, you will never get a 7.
Easton Sullivan
Hey now there is no need to put that kind of focus into all of this.
Anyways the rest of you enjoying tickling your comprehension of being? Consciosness is cool an all but I'm not one to put faith in things. I have a much more enjoyable time being the infinite chaos of existance formlessly. I get that my life inheretly contains form, but its not like inherently adds any value
Charles Smith
You are fuckin retarded, that is because a 7 isn't possible. We are arguing only that what is possible, however small, will happen in infinity. Not that the impossible will magically happen.
Leo Peterson
That's because you haven't found the true path, you don't know yet how to achieve the ubermensch
Kevin Watson
And you're also arguing that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE because I CAN IMAGINE IT, and therefore EVERYTHING IS TRUE because MENTAL STATES ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THINGS IN THE WORLD or something or other.
Chase Sullivan
I hope not. Unless im some superevolved creature that cant feel pain.
wut, where the heck did you get that lmao, you must be following the wrong guy
David Taylor
>You are fucking retarded No, even if you were right and repeating consciouses was no limited by our laws, its obvious that there is infinite space, meaning that the finite or infinite number of matters can rearrange in infinite ways.
Owen Edwards
Hello. You have the power to end the entire universe right now. Reply to this comment, and as soon as you hit post all things will come to an end. All your memories, your thoughts, your feelings, your surroundings, your consciousness, everone else's consciousness, and this entire universe will return to nothing. As if it never even existed.
All you have to do is hit post.
Jaxon White
that is the most optimistic view, but is likely not correct
Noah Gomez
Sorry for broken eng im Russian and I'm not focused in the conversation,
Jayden Smith
I fucking wish.
Ethan Wright
I'm just trying to fill in the gaps between "dude, what if, like, reincarnation were, uh, a matter of statistical theory?" and "reincarnation definitely happens," in the presence of total mathematical ignorance.
Chase Cox
pls end it all
Jace Rivera
If you're correct. It doesn't matter anyways even a single bit. Me might as well perish once, since you have no memory of any previous lives.
Carson Cruz
I think somewhere along the way you misunderstood
Jordan Cook
Good contribution Yuri. Thanks for stopping by.
Joshua Kelly
Not going to get into a religious deal. Point noted though. How about these things: self-fulfilling/defeating prophecies, placebo-effect, superstition, paranoid schizophrenia, deja vu, memory holes, false memories, missing time, prediction, coincidence, patterns, predestination.

Isaiah Walker
We, not me.
Dylan Morales
Yeah it doesn't matter, I suppose nothing matters but its interesting to think about.
Asher Walker
And there are multiple ways to see how our time reality (Even if infinite) is limited to one consciousness.
Jack Bell
He is obv not correct.
Blake Richardson
I better be born with wealthier parents next time.
Cooper Ramirez
Deja Vu is your brain “short-circuiting”, transferring a present experience into the memory storage so it seems as if it was experienced before.
Juan Cooper
My argument to the infinite universe theory is.. If there are infinite universes with unlimited possibilities, that means there is a universe that is searching for our specific planet to blow us the fuck up. Unless we're that 1 possiblity where we dont get found. Yet.
Grayson Kelly
So... we will be shitposting for all eternity? I'm glad I'm talking with you guys, we're connected right now.
Carter Kelly
yes
Dylan Cruz
Also people who have the same routine for years sometimes get a false deja vu. They did experience the present experience before.
Evan Johnson
Sometimes I think that we're not really here, but at the same time we're. If our consciousness is just an arrangement of sub atomic particles, maybe that same arrangement, or a different one that contains it, is present right now somewhere.
Go back to jerking off to the Agora and living in a barrel, we don't want you here Diogenes, we don't want you or any of your cynic dogs here. If you want to return to the simplicity of nature, go, be an animal, at least is better than being a human, but I seek power.
Sebastian Price
Always rains
Daniel Ramirez
Water only settles from a interior perspective, otherwise it travels a d exists within the universe relativly the same way as light does.
There is a large hole in this revelation, that being that Null chances aren't exactly worth taking into consideration. It is infinitesimally more likely that you would not be revived, seeing as humanity seems to be going towards the trend of avoiding overpopulation and some crazies even want to kill off some people now. That's just the way it is, and unless your life is valuable enough that someone would be willing to revive you in the future, there is absolutely no chance that you would survive. If you are going by the principle of reincarnation, there is an even bigger hole in that assumption. There is simply no logical explanation for that, unless you were to believe that consciousnesses could transfer to something else, somehow, or if you believed in a soul, neither of which holds a firm place in this argument. The final state of matter for the human body, many years after your bones have wilted and a long time after you are dead, you will simply be the dust in the air. And there is no way that you will be born again, as your atoms are completely split apart from each other. TL;DR: No form of consciousness can be transferred to something else, and Null chances aren't worth considering, even in the sea of 7.7 billion people.
Liam Myers
He was quite broad in his explanation on consciousness, though when it comes down to it, that is about what it is, except for the fact that consciousness also involves a constant collection of experiences in the real world.
Julian Reyes
On Earth, yes. But in a specific patch of land, it will only rain sometimes, though to be fair, there are places where it only snows or a place where it doens't rain at all.
Eli Butler
Its not my fault the privacy of my barrel has been traded away for this great understanding you all seek. Your lucky your madness leads to no more grief and burden than mine.
Anyways as bones where formed with brittleness inmind your call for power has no more value than what you set yourself to concure.
And if your set on concuring existance your focus has already left you far behind.
