Companionship? I can get a pet for much less including medical and feeding costs over time with far less stress and actual loyalty.
Love? So far this doesn't actually exist, but hey, I'm only 32 and have only had 14 "serious" relationships, 14 of which had this meaningless word passed around, and in all 14 the truth came out eventually. Whether it's money, stability, or the sex, they weren't around for "love", and I have good reason to believe 12 of them cheated on me, actual proof that 4 did. Have spent a long time talking to people in my life as well as anonymously in groups or 1 on 1, and done a little bit of research into actual social studies conducted. I don't think women are really able to be loyal and monogamous. To be honest, the men that can, only can because they are easilly whipped and afraid of losing a partner when they have one.

Sexual relief? Masturbation is plenty for me, and if some day it's not, toys are better and cheaper every day. If even that fails, casual sex is easier today than it has ever been in history.

Someone to talk to? That's what friends are for, welcome to the friendzone, make yourself at home, if you want more - there's the door.

someone to keep me warm at night? Again, I can cuddle with a pet, or even a heating rock meant for large reptiles, or a heated blanket/body-pillow, etc

Children? Why would I want to be responsible for someone else having to live in this world? what if they came out male and had to live with being the most oppressed and hated type of person in society due only to traits that they have no control over? I wouldn't be able to live with myself forcing that on someone.

Someone to confide in? I have no secrets.

Someone to fulfill my need to be needed? I came to terms with this long ago and no longer have that need.
