legendary story, thanks for sharing
There's so many times when people say that videogames don't matter as much as the real world, but stuff like this shows that between all the robotism that dominates our gameplay feelings, videogames are just as much a part of humanity, of society, as other aspects of life.
The soul of using a media of entertainment, that we normally use to distract ourself from our own shitty, broken lives, to help somebody out and show them part of the hope that keeps us alife is immense.
I love you anons, and I'm so glad things like these can happen.
>Be me 15 years ago.
>Play Diablo II online using the assassin character.
>Paladin douche shows up, demanding to pvp with me.
>He won't take no for an answer, even though pvp isn't my thing and waits outside of town for me.
>Not wanting to puss out, I go out and meet him, engage my skills and kill him with 5 fast consecutive blows.
>Pick up his ear, most of his money and say "well there was your pvp".
>Leave him to type out a string of curses
