Does anyone here smoke CBD flower? No, not marijuana, and not high cbd/low thc bud.
Like the straight up CBD flower, the kind that is legal with .03% THC.
I suffer from IBD, some anxiety, and sleep issues. Some nausea. I ordered a dry herb vape and 5g's of Honolulu Haze to see if this stuff would help me at all.
No but I'm interested to see if it helps with IBS and sleep. Maybe I could stop getting high on weed so much.

This might sound kind of funny but until recently I worked in law enforcement (started my own business and left), I've never smoked weed not even as a teenager. But my IBD has been getting much worse, and I was thinking about trying weed until I came across this CBD flower... sounded like something I could function better on, on a daily basis since you don't have any psychoactive effects

When you say IBD do you mean general IBS? Or do you have a full on IBD such as Crohns?
Thomas Cooper
I'm in the process of diagnosis right now - originally they thought IBS, but I did a fecal calprotectin stool sample and it was level 462 (not supposed to be higher than 120) and they told me I probably have Crohns or UC.
They want to do a colonoscopy, but I've failed the "prep" twice because it makes me hurl instead of poop. So I'm not sure what to do.

Yeah that shits nasty. I had to have an endoscopy, then a full on colonoscopy where I had 3 polyps removed. The volume of that shit you have to drink doesn't help.
My blood tests for bowel cancel, coeliac, Crohns etc all came back negative. So diagnosed with just general IBS. Weed really helps with the cramps as it is antispasmodic, CBD is supposed to have that effect too. Helps things feel more settled. Doesn't stop the bloating or the increased bowel movements though.
Not sure if it would help with Crohns, but I'm not too clued up on exactly how Crohns affects you.
Matthew Sanders
I'm trying to look into other ways to get diagnosed without the bowel prep shit. No clue how, yet, though, and docs don't seem real helpful.
I take charlotte's web CBD oil now at night, it seems to help the stomach a bit as well as sleep, but I figured the actual flower might be better for both of those things.

I bought 50 grams of the stuff off Amazon a couple of years ago... did absolutely fuck all. You're probably better off getting CBD oil since it's more concentrated.

Other things I've found help are doinf the low FODMAP diet to find trigger foods and avoid the food groups that are bad for me. Also eat little and often. And a set routine for both meals and sleep. Enough sleep every night and in bed around the same time. Probiotics have helped me too, not the yoghurts, most of the bacteria die before reaching your gut. You want the tablets that you have to keep in the fridge. I've cut right back on alcohol, and coffee. Yoga is also good for the digestive system, and helps lower stress levels with can be a real serious trigger.
I thought they could tell if you had Crohns just from the blood sample? Did they say what they were looking for with the colonoscopy?

I buy full spectrum CBD oil capsules on dream market and smoke high CBD content strains. Such a game changer. Smoked couple of legal strains and now smoke CBD vape liquid. Makes wonders for my anxiety.
