He makes this argument, then draws a parallel to jesus carrying the cross.

many of his positions are correct but his arguments for them are insufficient, generally because he bases his positions on particular things (e.g. pronouns) on very general arguments that he's made prior (the concept of freedom or responsibility). This is to say, his positions are fine, but they don't cohere. He's more right by coincidence than by method.
