The whole point of the power levels was that Frieza and by extension his man viewed power as something purely numerical, but true power comes from your heart and your spirit. Vegeta's character growth starts with him deciding to ditch his scouter and go with his instincts. Frieza never did this because he never even considered the idea that he might have to grow and change, so when someone stronger than him showed up, he got fucked bodied. The numbers were bad and limited your understanding of the world around you. That was the whole point.
Anyway I dunno what any of this has to do with AEW. Is this just the new forced meme now that we can't do hot dogs anymore?

and then the retarded fans started saying "w-wait how did x beat y his power level is much higher"
aew fans aren't going to be smarter than dbz fans

That's nice but it doesn't change the fact that I was talking about it from an outer-universe perspective and the creator literally abandoned the notion as he felt it was a suffocating giveaway that drained tension from any battle. You're also probably giving Toriyama too much credit considering many of the enormous leaps in power were explained by zenkais, which were contrived for the sake of convenience. The only real case wherein it was a matter of following one's heart/spirit was Goku's transformation because that was fueled by his acceptance of his Saiyan heritage, hence the original speech in Jap before the dub butchered it with le heart of le universe.

>give kenny the most power rating WWE shows video of him jobbing in developmental >give cody the most power rating WWE shows video of him jobbing to everyone >give Jericho the most power rating WWE show video of him to jobbing to everyone
Lol this is just giving WWE an easy way to bury them

Rejecting the idea of an underdog is idiotic.

Having to use numbers and stats to convey the idea of an underdog because your fanbase are idiots is literally idiotic.

>Vegeta gets three zenkais over the course of Namek, gets completely bodied by Freeza's when he's not even trying >Goku gets one zenkai after arriving on Namek, can stand up to Freeza until he gets serious big wew
But yeah, I know, I just like the idea that Vegeta started changing when he ditched his scouter, but Frieza is this heartless fuck with no spirituality and it winds up being his undoing.

>Anime E-Lite Wrestling Holy fucking yikes. Imagine watching this.
Ok Cody our fanbase are obese autistic man children how should we market to them?
HOTDOGS AND DRAGONBALL Z

power levels got ditched because they got stupid big quickly. The Frieza saga had goku go from like 10,000 to the millions and that kind of growth would mean we would end up with stupid big numbers by the end of the buu saga. It would've distracted from the show/manga to have to show numbers that large.
