What would you like to see in a Fallout New Vegas sequel?
Please no posts about stinky feet. It's a waste of space, a terrible meme and accelerates us towards the bump limit.

stinky feet

deathclaw sex

i just think it would be really cool to see some deeper faction steenky feet.

[7 Agility] I'm a sick fuck, I like a quick fuck.

that mod actually kind of ruined new vegas for me, i kind of associate it with the original game even its quite unrelated for some reason.

ponchos and sombreros

stinky deathclaw feet sex

deathclaw sex was the least outlandish and lore inaccurate part of that mod to be fair

I'd rather a new Fallout game take place in a new region of the US

Sex slaves who do what I want.

Making about New Vegas again would make the first game's decisions pointless. Rather it be a new region like Texas or the Northwest so we can see some familiar themes, but not the same EXACT factions.
Tired of the Brotherhood of Steel.

Yeah I'd like to see more sexual exploitation. New Vegas had a lot of stories / hints about it but I wanna SEE it. Won't happen though because AAA vidya has to be politically correct.

We already have Raul. Do you really need more?

Smelly toes

An engine that isnt gamebryo

Holy kek

- Gecko mobs removed
- Fallout 4 physics/Graphics
- No factions with ugly uniform aka Legion

Have it take place in Texas and deal with the Brotherhood there, NASA related tech, a Legion incursion and other faction related stuff.

Alternatively, have it take place in Hawaii. Tons of military related stuff there, palm trees, beaches, volcanos, Vaults in volcanos. Something beautiful for once.

>Make sequel to “cult classic” game
>Find out that 41% of the fan base have offed themselves in the intervening years

I'd prefer it didn't exist. I assume this is in reference to Obsidian making another Fallout game and I wouldn't want them to continue with New Vegas because, frankly, I don't give a fuck about New Vegas. I'd prefer they do a new story in a new location and try to make something a little more compelling this time.

What I would like to see? I would appreciate it never existing over fuck all effort in lore and logic of the setting. Obsidian is different and we've reached point of no return with FO4/76 all thanks to Bethesda and their lackeys.

You know that this is nu-Oblivion, they will fuck it up, they already have 3 projects in the works.

Anyone else feel Fallout is just kind of played out? Im really just not interested in the lore or any new installments anymore.
Still luv Elder Scrolls tho
simple az

I feel Skyrim has overstayed it's welcome too.

ye but come on, elder scrolls lore is way more expansive and interesting even though skyrims main plotline isnt that great

Fallout's lore sucks ass. I wish they would just reboot the series to fix all of the retcons. Devs can't make a single game consistent with the others.

>Fallout New Vegas sequel
Please no.
I like f:nv but unfortunately fallout series is dead. I just don't believe that anyone can make a good new game in modern conditions.

We don't need a new Vegas sequel. It's a great game, let's leave it at that.

isometric turn based gameplay

>What would you like to see in a Fallout New Vegas sequel?
for it to be untouched by obsidian and its actually the first game but actually finished this time.

well for one, for it to take place somewhere outside of vegas, I'd like texas or new mexico or something

Everything from NV and 76 with settlement building.

frontier was cursed

Especially if the poncho could be worn over the rest of your outfit. Power armor + poncho would be a sweet fucking look.

At this point Fallout as IP shouldn't be touched by anyone. Let it rot in a ditch and move on.

I want the simple revolution. I want first worlders to question their governments lead through recent time slips.
Time slips are caused by mass public government employees using previously used dates on signature fields of legal documents like previously used dates are current date. To say this again, there is a current date, but a previously used date is used on signature fields of legal documents. A public government employee walks into work, looks at cell phone, news paper, television, and sees wrong date. Anyone looking at mainstream newspapers, nationally broadcasted television, or syncronized cell phones? You see a wrong date. Mass public government employees use wrong date on the date field of their legal documents.
I think public governments can solve liability in either three options. Public government stops relying so heavily upon private companies for calendar keeping, and public governments answer victims. This is called, “Stop time slips, and redress grievances.” An other option? Public government stop collecting taxes, and public government stop spending taxes. This is called, “Cede opportunities to private companies”. The last option? Public government employees quit public government jobs, public government employees forfeit public government job pay, and public government employees vacate public government work. This is called, “Dissolve government.”

No "New Vegas 2". You know it's going to be shit if you just try to milk the same shit more. Make it in Utah, Oregon or Arizona with some new stuff.

These posts were made by trannies.

trans folk love new vegas

That's just false flags because they know that Yea Forums loves the game so that we start hating it.

Game's fucking terrible stop shitposting

I don't think New Vegas needs a sequel, but Bethesda definitely needs to review what the game did before they fuck up the series any further.

You forgot to include yourself in that list.

I WANT FALLOUT 3 2 NOT THAT SHIT

I want Northern California.

GOOD MORNING SIRS

When people say New Vegas 2 they don't mean a literal sequel, just a new Fallout game made like New Vegas and has most or all of the same trappings.

Frontier did it and everyone hated it sooo probably not gonna happen.

Gee I wondered when the shit-hawk will arrive...

fallout new mexico(sequel to FNV)
fallout illinois(something with the same vibe as The Pitt from Fo3)
make it so weapon fire rate is a thing
take heavy inspo from the OG games when it comes to dialogue
less hand-holding than FO4,and 76
NO settlement building
multiplayer
backpacks
visible weapons+MULTIPLE weapons on person(first 3 that you have on your weapon wheel;pistol, rifle, rifle),weapon wheel similar to FNV where you hotkey your weapons through the pipboy
NO FAMILY RELATED BULLSHIT you start off as LITERALLY WHO, and continue the game however you want
MANY quests, but many also give pacifist options
MORE ADOBE related MODERN infrastructures like OG games
BRING BACK THE SCREENED DIALOGUE REEEEEEeeeeeEEeeeeee
No celebrity VAs hire literal whos
Have a LARGE pool of literal who VAs to have enough of a randomized voice pool for NPCs
MODDABLE WEAPONS
CUSTOM AMMO TYPES
AMMO TYPE HOTKEY SWITCH
Bring back Enclave, and make them, and BoS purely chaotic, and ideology driven save for a few members
Gambling
Lots of energy weapon variety eg:plasma swords,plasma rockets,plasma snipers/laser sword/laser rocket,laser sniper
Bi-Partisan politics in the game;really just showing that whoever has the deepest pockets and support in the game will either abuse their power, or use it for good
actual time to develop the game, and no rush related bullshit to make suits smile

More modern music, I don't mind if it's not Top 40 stuff but it's pretty infuriating that 200+ years after a nuclear war the only music being played are records from 150 years before that. There's no reason rock, metal, or maybe any electronic music wouldn't be in Fallout. The world didn't *just* stagnate after 1950 and leave it at that. Bethesda pretending that 2077 is just futuristic 1950s cheapened the setting.

Traits, reputation and disguise systems makes a comeback. More character interaction and dialogue options. No voiced protagonist. Little if any predetermined character backstory. Vehicles you can drive.

I want them to try to make something like Fallout 2 but in the current FPS/RPG hybrid style. New Vegas was already inspired heavily by Fallout 2 but I want more.

it might work if they had an instrumental radio station playing riffs, and it's like some wacky character like a pop reference NPC referencing some IRL artist maybe even being VA'd by a popular artist(RIP dimebag would have been sigggg), or you could have some ghoul knock out some cheap sample notes, or some knock off version of the song like DOOM did with AiC

None. Just make more mods for NV.

I have a list set up in such a way that it doesn't matter if FNV4 comes out or not, because my modlist is already better than any fan-made mods that will come out for that piece of shit that isn't even having its DLC included on release. Discord trannies being given attention was a mistake. Literally only reason I bought Fo4 seven years ago lmfao.

It’s actually fascinating how this mod was such trash fire, my personal highlights:
>the head “writer” for the NCR quest blackmailing the team into letting him write it by himself because he’s the only one who can code - then he just blatantly steals everything from AAA shooters
>the head dev who played New Vegas maybe once in their life
>heh feet
>obligatory (already dated) drumpf amerikkka reference

Post list pl0x

I wouldn't. There's no need, at most I'd want the original writers to come back and have a year or two to finish up/add things they didn't have time for like Legion territory. Other than that, a sequel of all things just defeats the point of a game like New Vegas. In a game where player choice matters so much in how it handles factions, characters, etc... to give it anything close to a canon ending would just hurt the original game. Make a new fallout game for sure but go somewhere new.

aight gib second will take pictures of my setup this is under the assumption you understand LOD generation. my columns are all organized properly, and so are my plugins so it should just work. The only mod you won't have access to is the gunnetwork FO4 styled armor mod unless you make a gunnetwork account which is worth it for the armor alone.

>The world didn't *just* stagnate after 1950 and leave it at that.
In the Fallout universe it actually did though. Technology still moved forward with atomic power at the forefront and not microcomputers, but the culture and entertainment stayed locked in to post-WW2/Cold War era up until the bombs fell. The most you'll ever get is some very early 60s rockabilly, especially since this is also what Black Isle and Chris Avellone had planned all the way back in the first game.

yo hold on it's going to take like 10min to post all of it and save them all thru lightshot

Am lurking

What really sucks is that Frontier had some legit mods in it like the working car with full animations and physics, but due to all the stupid ass shit that happens with modern modding communities they're forever locked into the Frontier and will never be distributed to the rest of the community. Even the 'standalone highwayman' mod still depends on files from Frontier in order to work.

>What would you like to see in a Fallout New Vegas sequel?
zachary levi spinning on a supermutant's giant green cock while preaching to my voiced protagonist

Why does it have to be set in New Vegas? Why not use the opportunity to have a new Fallout setting?

Character customisation screen only allows so faced characters

Its really weird how there wouldnt be mods without open source tools but modders desperately do everything they can to make sure they have full power over their "content"

Just having the same quality of writing as New Vegas but you'd have to be delusional to think that would ever happen with current obsidian.

almost done user i will post mods+priority, and their columns then will give basic explanation of how your plugins should be activated on the right hand side i have like 4 more screen captures to take then just posting

okay will first post the mods then will give the right hand plugin explanation

should i play new vegas
i never played a fallout game before

yeah if you want use my modlist. it's a fun one i made that takes heavy inspo from Fo2's atmosphere, and the OG ui.

>but the culture and entertainment stayed locked in to post-WW2/Cold War era up until the bombs fell.
Culture and entertainment aren't some monolithic thing and even if they were, there will always be subcultures within that larger culture, as there have always been throughout history. 50s swing and americana might have been the popular music at the time, just as certain genres of contemporary pop might be for us now, but underground music and otherwise niche genres of music also exist, they just aren't as pronounced within pop culture. We know that Elvis existed in the Fallout universe, one of the forerunners of rock and roll, and we know that according to the Fallout 3 game guide, Three Dog grew up "listening to rock", hell even in every Fallout game there's tons of heavy metal references even entire unique outfits, so why not have that represented in game?

And even if the era preceding the great war was stagnant (somehow), that doesn't mean that the past 200 years after it *has* to be. How is it that on the west coast at least, the Fallout universe is quickly reforming and accelerating back to how it was just before the war, yet absolutely nothing new is being created? In Fallout 2, there are porn studios, movie studios and posters in New Reno. Why are there no musicians? No new music? If every piece of music in 2281 were records from the 1950s, then music is dead. Why is music dead but not the other forms of media?

Also what the original Fallout *is* is not what Fallout 2 *was*. The original Fallout had a Louis Armstrong song as the credits and intro track because the world was shit, but Fallout 2 marked a considerable development in the universe technologically and culturally which is represented in every facet of the game world. Even bottle caps have become devalued by the existence of NCR currency. Fallout 2 only ever featured a Kiss to Build A Dream On as a homage to F1.
