Oop! I'm gonna defy gravity and delay my fucking attack for 1.8 seconds in the air

Get some armor, it matters more in this game.

Some people also tend to miss that bosses tend to switch their behavior depending on whether you're trying to stay the fuck away or getting up close. You can even bait them into attacks sometimes that you can then punish. Take the Crucible Knights. If you stay close, their moveset is pretty manageable, but try staying mid range or farther away and they'll chimp out with sudden dashes that destroy your stamina bar and then go to town on you.

Well maybe I should clarify.
There is nothing fun about dealing with bullshit enemy behavior over, and over, and over again to progress. I don't have much time for games, and I'm not a pussy who wants an easy mode, but there's only so much BS I would like to take from a game.

Just use summons against bosses that become too frustrating and annoying to fight over and over again. It's very obvious that many of the later game bosses with their wide aoe attacks or the duo bosses were designed with summons in mind and balanced around that accordingly.

I found leveling to be a pretty potent tool to close the gap between manageable and bullshit, as you gain some resistances every few levels, regardless of where you put your points. If something is clearly too hard, I run past it or go somewhere else and looks for something more manageable for a while. Also, occasionally some enemies are pretty much made to be complete bullshit, so there's oftentimes a trick to deal with them, e.g. healing stuns for Revenants. Last not least, I have no qualms on gradually switching up my weapon, ashes, affinity or summoned spirits to deal with specific parts, as long as I don't have to completely respec. There's a shitton of tools the game offers you to even out difficulty spikes. Of course, if someone insists on doing a lvl1 wooden stick no ash no spirit 1 vigor run, then all the pain they get is on themselves.

I'll level up a bit then try again tomorrow. Peace out.
