I'm not completely a stranger to making games, just not one of this scale. I just got burnt out from the last time and I know what I'm getting into, but I know I can make a lot of progress in just a week.

Why not just use Unreal Engine. You can make an AAA game by just dragging and dropping shit around.

Because i dont know what i'm doing with my life and i just wake up in the morning and somehow is already at the night and i just go sleeping with the idea of tomorrow would be different :C

I worked hard and made games with a group of people. we made something pretty good that I'm proud of. I specifically made the core game and all the tools used to create it. then we supposed to move on to a new game and I flaked out and ghosted them. later I was working on a game with a great 3D artist and made a few good prototypes. we hit a wall with the core design of the game and I flaked out and ghosted him. he went on to release games with success. now I don't work with people and toil away at my solo projects. I've started like 20 games that got reasonably far in development. now I flake out and ghost myself. making games takes dedication. I don't think I'm cut out for it. I've got the skill but not the stamina. so now I just fuck around with projects as a hobby and release nothing while working a normal 9 to 5 job unrelated to computers.

if your game isn't wacky enough to appear on a vinesauce sunday stream, it might be a boring game. if your game isn't entertaining enough for funny video game pizzapasta man to react to, no one will discover your game

I spent 8 years pursuing a bachelor's in Computer Science and the field was rife with Indians and Chinese that were not only mathematic savants but would also work for 1/2 of the common wage.
Not only that, but they're also the teachers, of which none speak comprehensive English, let alone possess any educational technique.
Pursuing certificates will always keep you on the backfoot of not having a degree, and pursuing a degree will always keep you on the backfoot of not having certifications.
FUCK programming.

You'd think you'd stay true to the goal of trying to make good money tho.
Skill or no skill it seems failure is always guaranteed when there is no consistency. But that's true for all parts of life I guess.
