CA really fucked this one up.

>copy paste the same game 3 times over 5 years
>still charge $80 each for each game
>need all 3 games to be able to play everything
and they wonder why everyone still just plays Shogun 2 or Medieval 2

6 YEARS FOR AN UNFINISHED MOD

>and they wonder why everyone still just plays Shogun2 or Med2
They don't though. They played TWW2 Mortal Empires. TWW3 launched in a pitiful state and lacked the core feature of TWW2 that everyone enjoyed, knowing that everyone wanted it because it was already in development.

How much of it was the buggy/shitty campaign, and how much is people being over Total War? You have Rome 2, Attila, 3K to an extent, ToB and Troy all being lackluster as fuck and even WH1 to an extent was pretty shit with how god awful so many factions were in hindsight
>Greenskins needed to build a T3 building to even start their tech tree and had units behind tech tree

Like it launches, campaign isn't shit and it runs as-good as WH2 which still isn't amazing, I don't think people would have creamed their pants.

a bunch of factions from the bottom of the spinoff bin. 1 and 2 were great and fun, but even in 2 it felt like they had already run out of the good factions (tomb kings and rats were okay). I just never gave a shit about 3 when it was announced and I've seen nothing to change that opinion after release.
Now do a 40k one.

Frankly, Shogun 2 unit roster sucks ass.
It's always just 1-2 unique units you can use. The only "good" part of the game is probably about "sword vs rifles" meme, mostly unseen in other Total War titles.

Is he based or cringe
