Why aren't you gaming on LInux right now?

It to hard.

I am playing right now.

FFXIV on openSUSE

Too much of a pain to set up. Just dual boot

KDE plasma.

I did, for a while until i bought 3070ti and my display drivers on linux shitted itself(it was persistent to the point of having to put off and on my HDMI to monitor to make it work on Windows again)
Probably had to update nvidia drivers before switching from 1066 to 3070ti on it's release.
Will get back the moment VR on Linux gets better, i really loved default desktop gaming experience

Thank you good sir for baiting in desktop threads and giving Windows users a reason to come here and shitpost.

Because I'm browsing Yea Forums on Linux.

It's just not though.
I'm a goddamn smoothbrain and I switched over during the linus meme tips challenge. After relearning some of 'how a computer works' it's not any more difficult than on windows and it just runs faster for most things. Proton is fairly easy to support and devs that dont are often activly blocking it.
If most of your games are on steam/gog and their not big AAA multiplayer games they should just werk.
Give it a try, what do you have to lose?

I thought you said gentoo was hard to install

Because Win11 blows Linux out of the water.
