A lot of the positivity you see is a feminist aesthetic for female empowerment.
Women are encouraged to be free in expressing their sexuality, but the men that enjoy it are considered gross, and encouraged to keep it to themselves.
"Sex positive" feminists are always the first to say media like Senran Kagura is gross, and needs to be banned or censored because it panders to the "male gaze" and "objectifies women."

Halo was a very enjoyable trilogy, and if companies tried to copy it just because it was successful, and generated many soulless clones, blame those companies, not Halo
There's many other things that ruined FPSs
Overwatch pressured TF2 into becoming a soulless competitive game with forced matchmaking
The battle royale craze spawned a lot of zoomer orientated shooters etc

Everything to do with watching streamers, I can deal with esports since I remember the LAN tournaments of old and also early SC2. But these are watching the top level of games so it makes sense some people watch that. But general streamers like watching some basedjak or ethot just play a game and pretend to be your friend is awful and I don't understand how anyone can watch this even as white noise.
