Animation locking is too bad compared to Elden Ring

The world design is a hallway with one branch whereas 1 and 2 were interconnected worlds and DeS has five different paths you can do in whatever order
Has no identity and is just "Hey, remember DaS?" when DaS mostly had vague similarities to its predecessor and 2 sparingly used them (Ornstein again being the only blatant example)
Also, I don't think it's a problem either way, but it's funny to me that people complained that II had a lot of humanoid bosses when III has plenty as well (except they light themselves on fire halfway through)

Where's the methodical and strategic gameplay from the other souls games? It's not there. And it's too easy.

It has the best quality and quantity of bosses. So others feel jealous.

There's not one good boss in this game. They're all trash on a fundamental level because the mechanics are fundamentally flawed. You'll roll and roll again and again and again and spam R1 and drink estus without consequence.

Yes objectively so. Here's me fighting the hardest boss in the game. Playing super carelessly and like shit and I still beat it first try. Game is a joke. Coveteous Demon is more punishing. Where's the strategic gameplay? It's not there. WHY? I'm just freely healing right in his face. Healing before was a calculated decision you had to find the right opportunity for. Rolling and spamming R1 with base endurance because stamina management isn't a thing anymore. You have to concede the game is flawed. Defend this.

I don't hate it, but I hate the PvP induced nerfs and how linear and colourless it is.
Sure, the combat is much better than the other games, the throwbacks to Demon's Soul are pretty nice and the game looked pretty good, but it has progression issues and still all the flaws of the previous games and then some.
